Charges brought against persons arrested over slaughter in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy announced â€“ <font color=red>UPDATED </font>

Resident of Dashtepe village of Georgiaâ€™s Marneuli region Nadir Aliyev faced charges under articles 32.5, 120.2.2 (participate in murder from hooligan prompting), 32.5, 120.2.4 (participate in the murder committed with special cruelty or in publicly dangerous way), 32.5, 120.2.7 (participate in murder of two or more persons), 29, 32.5, 120.2.2 (participate in the attempt to kill from hooligan prompting), 29, 32.5, 120.2.4 (participate in the attempt to kill with special cruelty and in publicly dangerous way from hooligan prompting), 29, 32.5, 120.2.7 (participate in the attempt to kill two or more persons from hooligan prompting) and 228.1 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms) of the Criminal Code.
Resident of Shulaveri settlement of Marneuli region Javidan Amirov faced charges under articles 228.1 (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms) and 234.1 (illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) of the Criminal Code.

Asked by APA about the process of the investigation, Sultanov said the law-enforcement bodies of the republic would inform the public about the investigation of the criminal case, when necessary.

An unknown man burst into the second building of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in Dilara Aliyeva street, 227 at 9.30, killed 12 and wounded 13 from the first floor up to the sixth floor. Later the offender killed himself. It was Georgian citizen Gadirov Farda Asad, 29.
