Judicial Council punished one judge and started disciplinary proceeding against three

Baku. Ramil Mammadov â€“ APA. Judicial Council held a meeting on Monday presided over by Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov to hear report of the Judge Election Committee on the process of nomination the judge candidates, APA reports. 440 lawyers applied for the judgeâ€™s posts and they will pass test examination on May 7 at Baku Sport Palace. The Council said it needed to complete some judge vacancies and reviewed the staff issues. It reviewed the disciplinary proceeding against the judges. Chairman of Kepez district court of Ganja City Ibrahim Fattahov was replaced for serious violations of law and other shortcomings. The disciplinary proceeding was started against three judges for the violation of legislative requirements.
