One detained over terror attack in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy

This is citizen of Georgia, resident of Dashtepe village of Marneuli region Nadir Shirkhan Aliyev, Nadir Aliyevâ€™s brother Namig Aliyev told APAâ€™s Georgia bureau.
Namig Aliyev said Nadir sold doner near Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and had no relations with Farda Gadirov, who is accused of committing the terror attack.
â€œNadir and Farda knew each other only as residents of Dashtepe. My brother is five years younger than Farda. My brother was in Ukraine, when Farda was in Russia. In September, 2008, Nadir came to Tbilisi. He left for Baku on March 18 this year,â€ he said.

Nadir Aliyev said his brother had worked in a wedding place in Baku and later began to sell doner near the academy.
â€œOur family is aware of the incident. My parents have today left for Baku. My cousins phoned and informed us about Nadirâ€™s detention,â€ he said.

Namig Aliyev added that Nadir was detained after tragic incident in the academy and was released after giving explanation.
â€œBut later he was detained again. This time my cousins themselves took him to the police to prove his innocence. Law-enforcers came to my auntâ€™s house in Baku and interrogated them,â€ he said.

Namig Aliyev said they were two in the family. He also said that Nadir was single and believer, he performed namaz.

Soon after the terror attack, reports spread yesterday that Nadir Shirkhan committed the attack.
