Moscow. Roman Matlaboglu - APA. Father of Ferda Gadirov, gunman assaulted the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Asad Gadirov gave interview to APA on Thursday. Asad Gadirov told APA Moscow correspondent that he was shocked when heard about the event.

Gadirov said representative of the Azerbaijan law-enforcement bodies was waiting for him in Moscow for the testimony.

The gunman’s father said his 29-year old son Ferda had no any job in Baku. Ferda was in Russia and three months ago he told his father that he firmly decided to return. “I heard about the tragedy in Baku several hours ago. He was not able to commit such event. He was peaceful and self-controlled. He was not smoking and drinking. I was very surprised with his action. I can’t believe it. I guess he didn’t know how to handle the pistol”.

60-year old Gadirov is in Moscow for almost 15 years and he is working in the market in Podolsk near Moscow. He has a son (except Ferda) and a daughter.

Gadirov said Ferda lived together with him in Podolsk before returning to Baku. “He told me seven-eight months ago that he couldn’t live in Russia. He didn’t have enough documents to live in Russia. He was a citizen of Georgia. Ferda told me that he wanted to return home in Georgia and to seek job there. I sent him back”.

Gadirov said Ferda called to their relatives and came to Baku to seek job. “I was happy as a father when heard that he sought job to earn money. But it happened so…”
