Terrorists rendered harmless in Azerbaijan Oil Academy, 8 bodies taken out of building – <font color=red>PHOTOSSESION-UPDATED  - 7</font>

The incident occurred between foreigners and Azerbaijani students at 09.30. A dark-skinned student reportedly shot dead three Azerbaijani students. He is holding some students as hostages in one of the rooms. Law-enforcement bodies arrived at the site.
Nasimi district police office told APA that three were wounded, one was killed in the shooting.

*** A lot of ambulances were called to the site. Baku emergency station told APA that at least 15 were wounded in the incident. The terrorist is reportedly holding a lot of students as hostages. Operation is being carried out to release the hostages and render the terrorist harmless.

*** Eyewitnesses say several gunmen were involved in the incident in Azerbaijan Oil Academy. Many have reportedly been killed in the shooting. Measures are taken to evacuate the students.

*** The terror attack has been reportedly made by Russians in masks. The casualties are reportedly increasing. According to the initial reports, dean of one of the faculties of Azerbaijan Oil Academy has also been killed.

***Commander of Interior Ministry’s Quick Response Police Sehlab Bagirov told APA that the terrorists had been rendered harmless. 2 bodies had been taken out of the building. Sehlab Bagirov did not say the number of the terrorists. Employees of Emergency Station said they had taken 8 bodies out of the building.

APA’s correspondent at the site reports that media representatives were removed from the site under the instructions of Deputy Interior Minister Javanshir Mammadov. The journalists are 50m far from the site. Deputy chief of Baku Main Police Office Yashar Aliyeva said the media would be informed about the incident.
Interior Minister Ramil Usubov and Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov have already left the site. The killed dean was reportedly woman.
Eyewitnesses say two terrorists gathered the students in a lecture hall, warned the police and demanded the police to help them out the building. The terrorists threatened to kill the hostages.

Head physician of Baku Emergency Station Mursal Hamidov told APA that the number of casualties was not known exactly.
“We have taken those killed and wounded people to hospitals. The exact number is not known,” he said.
