Zardusht Alizadehâ€™s son released

Nasimi district court has today passed a judgment on Alizadeh. Judge Seyyad Gafari presided over the hearing. Salur Alizadeh had faced charges under Article 234.1 (illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) of the Criminal Code and he was sentenced to one-year custodial restraint. One day of his imprisonment was counted as three days of the sentence and he was sentenced to 5-month imprisonment. The court also passed a judgment on compulsory treatment of Salur Alizadeh and he was released from the court room.

Salur Alizadeh was arrested as a result of the operations carried out by Interior Ministryâ€™s Department to Combat Drugs on January 21. Salur Alizadeh, 30, faced charges under Article 234.1 (illegal purchase or storage without a purpose of selling of narcotics or psychotropic substances in a quantity (amount) exceeding necessary for personal consumption) of the Criminal Code.
