Eldar Mahmudov receives the Director General of Qatari Interior Ministry General Security Head Office

Baku - APA. Minister of National Security of Azerbaijan General Lieutenant Eldar Mahmudov received Director General of the Qatarâ€™s Interior Ministry General Security Head Office General-Major Saad Jasim al-Khuleifi, Public Relation Center of the Ministry of National Security told APA. Mahmudov spoke about the ministryâ€™s activity, measures taken against the organized transnational criminal groups related with the international terrorist network and underlined the successive and staunch position of Azerbaijan as a member o anti-terror coalition. He informed about the current operational situation in the region, the factors effecting on it, results of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, uncontrolled areas, as well as illegal migration, drug trafficking and other issues, as well as adequate measures taken against these actins. The minister emphasized the importance of information and experience exchanging between Azerbaijan and Qatar and strengthening of cooperation for security interests of the two countries. Saad Jasim al-Khuleifi said such meetings had a special importance for determination of development prospects of the cooperation in the field of combating organized crimes and global anti-terror war. The guest said he was satisfied with the current situation of the Azerbaijan-Qatar relations and expressed confidence in further development of friendly relations and partnership between the two countries.
