Director of construction company arrested in Azerbaijanâ€™s capital

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Director and a responsible officer of Taj Mahal construction company have been arrested. Nasimi district police office told APA that director of the company Ruslan Yagub Akbarov and responsible officer Agasef Agabey Abdurahmanov were accused in the death of resident of Kish village of Shaki, Khanlar Mustafayev, 45.

A man aged 40-45 was found in comatose state in the dump in Moskva Avenue on April 9. He was taken to Clinic Medical Center. The investigations found out that it was resident of Kish village Khanlar Mustafayev. Mustafayev had fallen into the lift well of the 20-storey building constructed by Taj-Mahal company, chief of the company Ruslan Akbarov together with other employees took him out of the lift well and tossed him out to the dump. Nasimi district prosecutorâ€™s office launched criminal case on the fact on articles 162.1 (infringement of a labor safety rules) and 143 (leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code.

Mustafayev died last night.

Akbarov and Abdurahmanov were detained.

Investigation is underway.
