Assistant prosecutor of Paris visits jails in Azerbaijan

Assistant prosecutor of Paris Francoise Guillot visited the Correctional Facility and womenâ€™s jail #4 of the Penitentiary Service within the framework of her official visit to Azerbaijan, Public Affairs Department of the Penitentiary Service told APA. Francoise Guillot reviewed sleeping rooms, amenity rooms, rooms for praying, kitchen, canteen, medical unit, schools, rooms supplied with computer, devices for learning English, carpet-weaving unit, library and other rooms. French visitor praised the conditions created for prisoners. Deputy Chief of the Penitentiary Service Huseyn Alikhanov informed Francoise Guillot about the reforms recently carried out in the service.
Alikhanov and chief of the serviceâ€™s department for correctional work Azer Seyidov presented a book of the prisonersâ€™ poems and a carpet woven by women prisoners to Francoise Guillot.
