Malena Mard said the EU plans to cooperate with Azerbaijan in three important areas – the rule of law, regional development and education.
“We want to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the sphere of education. Up to now our cooperation with Azerbaijan in this sphere was not so substantial. We have agreed upon with Azerbaijan side to have closer cooperation in education,” she said.
Malena Mard said the EU Delegation intends to hold vocational trainings, strengthen cooperation in student exchange, enhance cooperation in pre-school education.
Malena Mard arrived in Azerbaijan at the end of last year. She has replaced head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia.
