Baku – APA. Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov received outgoing ambassador of Australia to Azerbaijan Ian Biggs.
The Foreign Ministry’s press service told APA that expressing his gratitude to ambassador Ian Biggs for his contributions to the development of Azerbaijan-Australia bilateral ties and wished success his future endeavors.
The ambassador thanked the Government of Azerbaijan Republic for the conditions created for his activity and the highest hospitality and expressed his confidence in further development of relations between the two countries.
They also exchanged views on development of bilateral ties, regional and international issues, as well as cooperation within the international organizations.
