Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Ambassador of Afghanistan Shaker Kargar, who completed his diplomatic mission in the country, APA reports quoting AzerTAc news agency.
The Head of State praised Shaker Kargar’s contribution to development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the diplomat on his appointment as the Trade and Industry Minister of Afghanistan, and wished him success in his future activities.
They discussed how to expand the Azerbaijan-Afghanistan ties in a variety of fields, including politics, economy, trade and industry.
The Azerbaijani President and the Afghan Ambassador expressed confidence that cooperation between the two countries would continue to enhance.
