Pakistani ambassadorâ€™s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan ends

Baku. Shamil Alibeyli-APA. “Pakistan and Azerbaijan have always had good relations and the traditional friendship has deep roots in the hearts of both nations,” outgoing Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Inayatullah Kakar said, APA reports.

He said within two years in Azerbaijan he saw warm attitude both of the Azerbaijani government and people towards Pakistan.

Pakistan’s ambassador added that in order to improve cooperation with Azerbaijan, economic relations should be strengthened, direct flights restored, military relations developed.

“We have perfect relations in the military sphere. Azerbaijani officers attend trainings in Pakistan. Pakistan is producing military products, ammunitions, and if the Azerbaijani government wants, we can supply Azerbaijan with these products. I hope direct flights will be restored this year. This is at the same time a commercial issue. Discussions are underway, we expect the flights will be restored in the near future,” he said.
