The Head of State underlined the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Austria in all spheres and noted high-level mutual interest in further expansion of the cooperation between the countries.
Underlining the importance of interparliamentary cooperation in the development of relations, the President expressed his confidence that this visit would be successful and help further enhancement of cooperation.
Underlining the rapid development of the relations between the two countries over last 20 years and current state of the relations, the guest estimated the opening of Austria’s embassy in Azerbaijan in 2010 and President Heinz Fischer’s visit to Azerbaijan with large delegation as an obvious example of this. Fritz Neugebauer noted the importance of high-level mutual visits in expanding bilateral relations.
