The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has decided to create a unified status called SCO Partner, APA reports.
This was stated in the SCO countries’ Tianjin Declaration.
It was reported that the member states have established the status of SCO Partner merging the statuses of observer and dialogue partner.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an international organization established in 2001. The organization includes India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus. Observer countries include Afghanistan and Mongolia, while dialogue partners include Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Cambodia, Qatar, Kuwait, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Sri Lanka.
