President Ilham Aliyev issues order to prepare third periodic report on fulfillment of Azerbaijanâ€™s commitments and to submit it to UN

Bakuâ€“APA. President Ilham Aliyev issued an order to prepare and to submit the third periodic report on the fulfillment of Azerbaijanâ€™s commitments in accordance with the UN International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, press service of the President told APA. According to the order, a working group was established to prepare the report.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov will lead the working group. First Deputy Finance Minister Ilgar Fatizadeh, Deputy Interior Minister Oruj Zalov, Deputy Justice Minister Togrul Musayev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Mikayil Jabbarov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Natig Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalet Valiyev, Deputy Health Minister Elsever Agayev, Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Firdousi Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Education Elmar gasimov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev, Vice Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Problems Sadaget Gahramanova, Vice Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Hamid Bagirov, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and Displaced Persons Sahib Rahimov, Vice Chairman of the State Land and Cartography Committee Azad Nagiyev, Vice Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund Zakir Babayev, First Vice Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation Ilyas Aliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan Copyright Agency Kamran Imanov, Department Chief of the Human Rights Commissionerâ€™s Office Zaur Aliyev were appointed the members of the working group.

The working group was commissioned to prepare the report and to submit it to the President within four months.

The Foreign Ministry will submit the third periodic report to the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights after its preparation and review.
