Department Chief of the Presidentâ€™s Office: â€œWe would like to believe that Russia did not realize arm shipment to Armeniaâ€

We would like to believe that, because it did not coincide with spirit of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, which were founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev and developed, expanded, deepened by President Ilham Aliyev, as well as relations between our nations and the presidents ,â€ Chief of the International Relations Department of the Presidentâ€™s Office Novruz Mammadov told APA.
The Department Chief stated that such kind of step did not coincide with character of relations between the two countries and stressed that it caused misunderstanding in the role of Russia as Co-Chair of OSCE MG.
â€œWe want Russiaâ€™s reply to be true. People, Azerbaijani society and various institutions are anxious about it. If such development occurs, it will be made clear. It is impossible to hide it. If such kind of case appears, we will give adequate reaction to it and take a strict position,â€ he added.
