Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will attend the 45th Munich Security Conference, Khazar Ibrahim, Spokesman for Foreign Ministry told APA that the motto of the main plenary would be “NATO, Russia, Natural Gas and the Middle East: The Future of European Security.â€
A total of more than 300 participants, among them over a dozen heads of state and government, as well as approximately 50 ministers, have announced their attendance at the conference to be held in the first weekend of February. 70 official delegations from more than 50 countries will participate.
This was indicated by the participation of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as Joseph R. Biden, the new U.S. Vice President.
The conference will be held on February 6-8.
