Under Presidential order, Tofig Abdullayev has been revoked from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, Bahrain and from the post of Azerbaijan’s permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Under another Presidential order, Tofig Abdullayev has been appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Qatar.
