Elman Adbullayev: â€œThomas De Val must know that Ramil Safarov is the victim of Armenian aggressionâ€

Victoria Dementieva â€“ APA. â€œInvestigator Thomas De Val, who submitted the information on Khojali tragedy to the world community and met with refugees and internally displaced persons, witnessed that they were the victims of Armenian aggression. Today, Ramil Safarov has already become the next victim of their policy. He is a real witness of the tragedy and he has lost his home and relatives as a result of this conflictâ€, the spokesman for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev quoted the commentary of General Director of Carnegie Fund, investigator Thomas De Val given on Ramil Safarovâ€™s release, APA reports. Abdullayev said that before giving the objective esteem to Ramil Safarovâ€™s issue, Thomas De Val must take into consideration the previous events and this issue must be examined in accordance with occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia: â€œThomas De Val, who knows very well the current situation in the region, must be absolutely aware that Armenians must end their occupation policy and withdraw their troops from occupied Azerbaijani territories in order to settle the conflictâ€.

Thomas De Val in his correspondence in BBC website called the Ramil Safarovâ€™s release as provocation.
