Azerbaijani President receives US ambassadorâ€™s credentials

Ambassador Morningstar said his first visit to Azerbaijan took place in 1995 and later, in 2002, he and his wife attended the international education conference organized in Azerbaijan jointly with the American councils within the exchange programs. He reminded about his meetings with Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev.

Underlining the successful development of Azerbaijan-US relations, President Aliyev thanked Morningstar for his contribution to the bilateral relations in the past 20 years and the economic development of Azerbaijan as well. He highly appreciated the US support and Morningstarâ€™s personal role in the realization of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and other energy projects. President Aliyev expressed confidence in successful development of relations during the diplomatic activity of Ambassador Morningstar in Azerbaijan.
