Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Uzbekistan’s President Islam Karimov. APA reports that the letter reads: “I sincerely congratulate You and all Uzbekistan’s people from my own name and on behalf of Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the Uzbekistan’s National Holiday – Independence Day.
Today, Uzbekistan confidently steps on the way of independence towards government strengthening, faces sufficient success in social-economical sphere and recognizes itself in the world as an influential state.
I believe in maintenance of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan for welfare of our people, in strengthening of the relations between the states, in mutual interest, support and continuation of mutual efforts in deepening of bilateral cooperation on the confident base.
I wish good health, happiness and successes to You, peace and welfare to friendly Uzbekistan’s peopleâ€.
