Senez Erzik: I played great role in improving Azerbaijani football

Turkish official of UEFA denied the information about FIFAâ€™s inspections in Turkish Football Federation.
â€œThe information about FIFAâ€™s inspections in Turkish football is only in Turkish press. There is no such information in FIFA,â€? he said.
Erzik also clarified the recession observed in Turkish football.
â€œThe success of football clubs is very important in Europe. Teams have not played successfully in continental matches recently. It is not easy to explain its reason over the telephone talk. The meetings often held both the managing staff of clubs and Football Federation have a negative influence on the work. All these should be taken into consideration. It is important to ensure discipline and transparency in clubs and federation. To pursue open policy is also one of the main conditions,â€? he said.
As to the elections to higher posts of UEFA to be held on January 24 in DÃ¼sseldorf, Germany, Senez Erzik did not tell the name of the candidate he will support.

UEFA official said he will visit Azerbaijan soon.
