Zaminbank sees 18% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan-based Zaminbank’s assets stood at AZN 445.239 mln, up 17.5% from previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 11.3% to AZn 263.923 mln, as well as consumer lending slid 32.2% to AZN 122.011 mln. Overdue credits soared 6.1% to AZN 10.363 mln and share in loan portfolio slipped 0.2 percentage point to 3.9%.

Deposit portfolio dropped 5.9% to AZN 95.589 mln, as well as personal savings were equal to AZN 88.242 mln, up 11.4% I annual comparison.

Total capital increased by 18.1% to AZN 50.599 mln, including authorized capital went up 24.2% to AZN 46.182 mln.

Number of clients raised 14.1% to 146,161, as well as individuals surged 14.7% to 136,717, legal entities grew 5.6% to 9,444. Number of plastic cards was equal to 30,925, up 13.2% in annual comparison, debit cards rose 11.3% to 29,473, credit cards went up 72.8% to 1,452.

The bank operates 38 branches 39 ATMs and 1,891 POS-terminals across the country.
