Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. On March 17-18, Europe Regional Heads of Customs Conference of the World Customs Organization will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
According to APA-Economics, the conference will be organized by Azerbaijan Customs Committee and Georgia Tax Service (Tax and Customs Administration – Border control Service). Opening speech at the conference will be made by Georgian Financial Minister Nodar Khaduri and chairman of Azerbaijan Customs committee, WCO Vice-Chair for Europe Region Aydin Aliyev.
Moreover, WCO Secretary-General Kunio Mikuria, Director General of Irish Customs Administration Josephine Feehily, director-General of Norwegian Customs and Excise Department Bjørn Røse, head of Taxation and Customs Union Directorate General of the European Commission Susanne Jacobsen, UK Director for Revenue and Customs Bill Williamson will attend the conference.
At the same time, the conference will also be attended by Customs Attaché of Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium Dashgin Aliyev, Deputy Head of International Customs Relations Division the German Federal Finance Administration Wolfgang Hornig and head of the WCO Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) for Baku Vitali Mikeladze and other guests.
At the second day of the conference, date and place of the next conference of the WCO Europe Regional Heads of Customs will be selected to be held in 2015, Georgia.
