Pasha Insurance heads insurance market for payments

Baku. APA-Economics - Musa Ahmadov. Pasha Insurance heads the insurance market paying AZN 2.34 mln in January, 2015, said the chairman of Azerbaijan Insurers Association Orkhan Bayramov.

Ateshgah Insurance paid AZN 1.14 mln, AXA MBASK – AZN 1.05 mln, Azersigorta – AZN 684,000, Standard Insurance – AZN 683,000. Total payments by these companies made AZN 5.9 mln or 57% of total payments.

The insurers doing fewer payments are Era-Trans (AZN 5,278), Silk Way Insurance (AZN 3,917), Gunay Sigorta (AZN 3,789), and Azergarant (AZN 1,000). Total payments of these insurers amount to AZN 14,000, 0.1% of total payments.

Generally, 3 insurance companies’ payments make over AZN 0.5 – 1 mln, 10 companies – AZN 10,000 -500,000, 8 companies – below AZN 100,000. 14 insurers increased payments, 11 decreased.
