Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based insurance companies have appealed to the minister of finance Samir Sharifov on increase of insurance premiums on compulsory insurance of civil liabilities of vehicle owners.
The minister said that the insurers make the proposals due to increase of insurance costs: “The vehicle and spare parts are imported with USD. They say the insurance costs also increased basing on price rise in spare parts”.
Sharifov added that the issue is on the agenda of the ministry: “However, we think there is no need for increase yet”.
