Insurance payments on accidents committed in Azerbaijan by owners of cars registered abroad exceeds AZN 300,000

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. 224 of insurance accidents on Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners have been committed by the cars registered abroad and entered Azerbaijan for transit.

According to Compulsory insurance Bureau, 37.5% (84) of these cars was registered in Turkey, 32.6% (73) in Georgia, 19.6% (44) in Russia, 4% (9) in Iran, 2.3% (5) in Germany, 4% (9) in other countries. 107 of them are trucks, 90 – vehicles and 16 – buses.

Insurance payments on this sphere made AZN 300,215.
