Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. The prices of food products rose by 2.6%, non-food products by 2.7% and paid services and tariffs by 0.4% in Azerbaijan in December.
APA-Economics reports quoting the State Statistical Committee that compared to the previous month the prices of consumer products and service tariffs rose by 1.9% last month.
The prices of lemon, orange, tangerine, beet, carrot dropped, prices of flour, rice, macaroni, beef and mutton, fish, sausages, milk and dairy products, eggs, butter, oil, apple, pear, quince, pomegranate, banana, nut, hazelnut, chestnut, potato, cabbage, green vegetables, onion, garlic and sugar rose last month.
The prices of non-food products – big instruments and devices, fax devices, jewelries dropped, prices of clothes, shoes, automobile spare parts, books, lubricants rose in December.
Railway and air transportation tariffs rose in December.
