Georgia’s public debt to Azerbaijan announced

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. In January-May 2015, Georgia’s public debt went down $173 mln to $4.03 bln. Under the criteria of international financial institutions, such a debt is a good indicator for the economy of such a country as Georgia.

 

Georgian media reports that $3.998 bn of the debt falls to share of government, others to share of the private and state companies borrowed under the state guarantee.

 

Georgia has 17 bilateral creditors whose total debt is $709.6m.

 

Azerbaijan is also among the creditor- countries. Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan makes $11,216,000, to Armenia $13,241,000, Iran $8,749,000, Russia $91,910,000, Turkey $21,447,000.
