APA-Economics reports quoting the State Statistical Committee that 50% of the GDP accounted for industry, 8.8% in construction, 11.6% for trade and paid services, 6.3% in transport, 1.9% for communication, 2.5% for agriculture, 11.9% other spheres.
The value added per person was on average
53.9% of the value added was produced in non-oil sector, it is up by 8.8% compared to a year earlier, in the oil and gas sector it dropped by 5.7%.
Industrial enterprises produced AZN 5.4bn products in January-February, it is down by 3.7% compared to a year earlier. It is attributed to the drop in the oil production.
