Demirbank gets 20% rise in assets

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. Demirbank’s assets in the first quarter of 2015 made AZN 478.580 mln, up 18.73% from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 18.69% to AZN 372.857 mln, consumer lending raised 22.74% to AZN 208.522 mln, mortgage lending fell 0.71% to AZN 49.332 mln (AZN 34.450 mln given through AMF), and overdue credits grew 2.5 times to AZN 31.812 mln.

Deposit portfolio surged 3.9% to AZN 197.818 mln, personal savings soared 0.3% to AZN 182.130 mln, total capital dropped 4.22% to AZN 58.801 mln, authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 21 mln.

Incomes shed 41.53% to AZN 14.942 mln, expenditures slipped 17.9% to AZN 19.721 mln.

Loss made AZN 4,891,070.

For the present, the bank operates 33 branches, 58 ATMs and 966 POS-terminals across the country.
