Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. In the first quarter of 2015, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover fell $5.8 bln or 18.6%, said the CB spokesman Azer Alesgerov.
According to him, the export fell 37.1%. Crude oil export declined 42.4%, oil products – 28.6%, natural gas – 69.1%. During this period, the import rose 37.7%.
Export prices decreased 52.1% (non-oil export prices – 10.1%), import prices increased 0.8%.
“In the first quarter of 2015, foreign trade turnover made $1 bln, while it was $3.6 bln last year”.
