Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Dollarization process continues in Azerbaijan, said the Chairman of Central Bank of Azerbaijan Elman Rustamov.
Rustamov said if $1 bln was sold in the currency market, so it means that dollarization process continues: “Dollarization process will also continue in April-May. We cannot prevent population from changing their deposits to dollar. We have sufficient currency and there will be no problem in changing of deposits to dollar. This selling continuesis carried out in the currency market. A part of this was directed to the demand of population, other part to state needs”.
