Bank Technique gets 25% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan-based Bank Technique’s assets stood at AZN 521.610 mln, up 24.6% from a year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 25.6% to AZN 334.315 mln, as well as consumer lending stood at AZN 83.647 mln, up 22.6% by contrast to a year ago. At the same time, overdue credits decreased by 11.5% to AZN 88.647 mln. Share of overdue credits in loan portfolio dropped 6.9 percentage points to 17.0%.

Deposit portfolio surged 68.7% to AZN 313.815 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 200.324 mln, up 74.2% from previous year.

Total capital soared 47.0% to AZN 61.856 mln, as well as authorized capital grew 15.9% to AZN 75.100 mln.

Number of clients rose 6.4% to 117,764, including individuals soared 6.3% to 117,764, legal entities increased by 7.0% to 6,130. As of January 1, 2014, the plastic cards stood at 59,184, up 38.0% in annual comparison. Debit cards surged 93.3% to 11,564, credit cards grew 29.0% to 47,620.

For the present, the bank operates 32 branches, 68 ATMs and 634 POS-terminals across the country.
