Bank Avrasiya gets 35% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiya’s assets stood at AZN 81.524 mln, up 34.9% from previous year.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 33.1% to AZN 58.313 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 11.797 mln, up 3.5 times from a year earlier.

Deposit portfolio soared 44.4% to AZN 44.170 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 37.480 mln, up 31.6% in annual comparison.

Total capital soared 22.8% to AZN 22.575 mln, as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 20.0 mln.

Number of clients rose 22.6% to 3,772, including individuals increased by 20.7% to 3,531, legal entities – by 11.1% to 241. Plastic cards were equal to 2,466, down 1.9% in annual comparison. Debit cards slipped 21.1% to 1,292, credit cards surged 33.7% to 1,174.

For the present, the bank operates 1 branch, 8 ATMs and 165 POS-terminals across the country.
