Basing on the joint proposal with the relevant government agency, with the consent of Azerbaijan’s President, the Ministry of Economy and Industry has been empowered to appoint and dismiss economic-commercial representatives at Azerbaijan’s diplomatic offices abroad and at the international organizations.
APA reports that it is reflected in the Statute on the Ministry of Economy and Industry confirmed by President Ilham Aliyev yesterday.
The Ministry of Economy and Industry will also exercise financial provision of the economic-commercial representative at Azerbaijan’s diplomatic offices abroad and at the international organizations. According to the Statute, the Ministry of Economy and Industry will have five deputy ministers. Currently, the Ministry of Economy and Industry has three deputy ministers.
