Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani residents carried out trade operations with the legal entities and individuals of 101 countries in January. Goods were exported to 46 countries, imported from 99 countries.
APA-Economics reports quoting the State Statistical Committee that 39 of the participants of foreign trade turnover were from Europe, 17 from America, 34 from Asia.
The total volume of the foreign trade turnover in January was $3.2bn. $2.7bn of the turnover accounted for export, $535.2m for import, this resulted in $2.1bn positive balance.
Raw oil, oil products, natural gas, fruits and vegetables, vegetable oil were the most exported products, food products, black metal, automobiles, electric appliances, vehicles and their spare parts were the most imported goods. Export of non-oil products rose by 8% compared to January, 2013 and reached $119.1m.
