Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev met with Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) Victor Tvirkun, who is on a visit to Baku, the Ministry told APA-Economics.
Mustafayev said special importance is attached to the cooperation with the international organizations, including BESC.
He said Azerbaijan is also having successful cooperation with Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and BSEC Business Council. Shahin Mustafayev said that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner, economic and cultural center of the region. He underlined political and macroeconomic stability in the country, said favourable conditions are created for investors.
Minister said Azerbaijan is the initiator and major participant of the projects implemented in the region, underlined that Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline enrich energy map of the region, pave the way for the delivery of the Caspian resources to Europe, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project will enhance transit potential of Azerbaijan.
Victor Tvirkun said the organization attaches great importance to the cooperation with Azerbaijan, expressed confidence that the cooperation will be enhanced, gave detailed information about the organization’s activity. Enhancement of the cooperation with BESC was discussed at the meeting
