Azerbaijan-based NBOCs sees rise in assets

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. In 2015, Azerbaijan-based non-bank credit organizations’ (NBCO) assets stood at AZN 731.11 mln, up AZN 161.98 mln or 29.9% from previous year.

 

Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that NBCOs’ total authorized capital rose 8.5% or AZN 7.18 mln to AZN 91.62 mln.

 

As of April 1, 2015, the branches reached 224 from 203.

 

The authorized capital of credit unions increased 25.21% or AZN 5.61 mln to AZN 27.86 mln.

 

Credit Unions’ assets soared 26.84% or AZN 14.79 mln to AZN 69.89 mln.

 

Authorized capital of credit organizations financed by the international humanitarian organizations rose AZN 7.56 mln, assets grew AZN 149.44 mln and branches soared 21 units. In other word, As of April 1, the authorized capital made AZN 51.04 mln, assets AZN 613.56 mln and number of branches 212.

 

During the reporting period, the authorized capital of other NBCOs made AZN 12.72 mln, while it was AZN 18.71 mln in 2013. Assets of other NBCO’s dropped AZN 2.28 mln to AZN 29.66 mln, number of branches remained unchanged at 12.
