Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2015, total foreign liabilities of Azerbaijan-based commercial banks made AZN 7,338.2 mln, by rising AZN 2,895.8 mln or 65.19%.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan says foreign liabilities rose AZN 130.1 mln or 1.74% in March. Compared to early 2015, the liabilities rose 1.5 times.
At the same time, as of April 1, 2015, banks’ total foreign assets stood at AZN 4,546.4 mln, up AZN 1,744.3 mln or 62.25% in comparison to a year earlier. In March, these assets increased AZN 377 mln or 9.04%.
