Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2015, Azerbaijan-based banks’ total assets made AZN 28,850,300,000, up 34.7% or AZN 7,431.7 mln from previous year.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics the assets increased 0.8% or AZN 217.8 mln in March, 2015.
Most of assets were loans given to clients. So, such loans made AZN 19,087.2 mln or 66.2% of total assets. Moreover, AZN 2,547.2 mln was investments, AZN 2,382.4 mln – correspondent accounts, AZN 1,404.1 mln – loans and deposits for financial sector, AZN 1,129.2 mln – cash funds and AZN 2,300.4 mln – other assets.
AZN 12.446 bln of liabilities were deposits, AZN 10.366 bln – loans and deposits from financial sector, AZN 1.808 bln – other liabilities and AZN 4,230.3 mln – capital.
