AGBank gets 35% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2014, Azerbaijan-based AGBank’s assets stood at AZN 467.414 mln, up 34.9% from previous year.

 

Bank says loan portfolio rose 41.1% to AZN 352.702 mln, as well as consumer lending soared 54.4% to AZN 142.494 mln. At the same time, overdue credits dropped 1% to AZN 39.832 mln and share of overdue credits fell 4.8 percentage points to 11.3%.

 

Deposit portfolio surged 23.9% to AZN 272.975 mln, including personal savings were equal to AZN 229.062 mln, up 20.6% from 2013.

 

Total capital increased by 17.6% to AZN 50.070 mln, as well as authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 25.0 mln.

 

Number of total clients grew 25.9% to 97,626, including individuals went up 29.3% to 96,284 and juridical persons rose 2.2 times to 1,342. Number of plastic cards made 63,37, down 0.3% from previous year. Debit cards dropped 2.5% to 47,534, credit cards advanced 5.3% to 15,813.

 

Currently, the bank operates 18 branches, 67 ATMs and 782 POS-terminals across the country.
