VTB-Azerbaijan sees sharp increase in main financial performances

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2014, the assets of Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) made AZN 208.377 mln, up 2.4 times from previous year.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 2.6 times to AZN 186.752 mln, as well as consumer lending made AZN 92.034 mln, up 2.8 times from 2013. At the same time, overdue credits increased by 3.4 times to AZN 7.215 mln and had 3.9%-share in loan portfolio, down 1.0 percentage point from a year earlier.

Deposit portfolio quadrupled to AZN 22.533 mln, including personal savings stood at AZN 5.181 mln, up 2.4 times from 2013.

Total capital surged 2.9 times to AZN 44.759 mln, as well as authorized capital soared 2.1 times to AZN 50.815 mln.

Number of clients grew 2.7 times to 9,506, as well as individuals increased by 2.6 times to 9,108, juridical persons – by 5.6 times to 398. Number of plastic cards totaled 1,434, up 4.0 times from a year earlier. Debit cards grew 2.2 times to AZN 697, credit cards – 15.4 times to 737.

Currently, the bank operates 4 branches, 5 POS-terminals and 6 ATMs across the country.
