Bank deposits exceeds AZN 12 bln in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of November 1, 2013 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 12,042.3 mln, up AZN 1,839.9 mln or 18.0% compared with a year earlier. The deposits have increased by AZN 1,343.1 mln or 12.6% since early 2013, AZN 112.9 mln or 1.0% n October.

AZN 6,303.4 mln or 52.4% was household deposits. These deposits soared AZN 613.7 mln or 34.4% year-on-year, AZN 1,190.0 mln or 23.3% since early 2013.

At the same time, juridical persons’ deposits stood at AZN 5,738.8 mln, up AZN 226.0 mln or 4.1% from a year ago, AZN 152.9 mln or 2.7% compared to beginning of 2013.

In legal entities’ deposits, AZN 3,067.8 mln or 53.5% belonged financial organizations (up AZN 335.3 mln or 12.3%), AZN 2,671.0 mln or 46.5% - to non-financial organizations (down AZN 109.3 mln or 3.9%).
