Baku hosts presentation of the Economistâ€™s annual publication the World in 2014

Publisher and General Manager of GT Group George Sharashidze said that the magazine will be published in more 42 countries.

“This magazine is for reading and learning persons. The important point is that the magazine was published in Azeri language. The magazine includes article envisaging business, finance, technology, international relations, economic spheres in both Azerbaijan and US and China, as well as many countries of the world. The magazine includes articles of Azerbaijani ministers, head of leading companies. At the same time, articles of US and UK ambassadors about Azerbaijan were published in this magazine. The readers will see how the views of authors are about this year, their forecasts, information mentioned spheres. The magazine will improve reader’s outlook, ability on analyzing events in the world. I think that Azerbaijani readers will like this magazine”, George Sharashidze added.

Ambassadors of the UK Irfan Siddiq and the US Richard Morningstar, as well as ADA University rector Hafiz Pashayev congratulated Sharashidze for publishing of the magazine in Azerbaijan for the first time and wished successes.

“The World” magazine was published 28 years ago as an edition reflecting the Economist’s forecasts on annual events and tendencies. The magazine includes articles of The Economist’s editors, as well as specialists on economy, policy, business, science and technology.

The World in 2014 was published in 3,000 editions and sale price is AZN 5.
