Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Throughout 2013, positive balance of Azerbaijan’s BoP (balance of Payment) made $3,841.0 mln, down 22.5% from 2012.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics that foreign economic operations had positive balance on oil and gas sector, negative balance on non-oil sector. Total receipts from oil and gas sector have been formed from export of oil and gas and foreign captal in this sector.
The payments on this sector reflects repatriation of profit and investments, import if equipments and services.
Consequently, total positive balance on oil-gas sector in January-June, 2013 made $ 22.4 bln. During the reporting period, surplus on current accounts made $ 12.3 bln. Surplus of oil-gas sector has completely covered $9.8 bln-deficit of current account on non-oil sector.

Foreign trade turnover made $42.9 bln and as it seems foreign trade balance resulted in positive balance of $20.6 bln. During this period, Azerbaijan had trade links with 152 countries. 9.9% of foreign trade was consumed with CIS countries, 90.1% - with other foreign countries.
According to BoP, export of goods made $31.8 bln, down 1.9% from previous year. Share of oil-gas products in this structure made 94.4%. $28.5 bln-oil products were exported to foreign countries. Of this, $ 1.6 bln was oil processing products, $26.9bln – crude oil. $25.3 bln of crude oil exported is total worth of oil extracted by Azerbaijan International Operation Company. $1.6 bln of crude oil exported was sent by other enterprises. Of this, $303.0 mln fell to share of condensate fell to share of Shahdeniz, $1,337.5 mln – to SOCAR.
Note that during 2013, Azerbaijan’s non-oil export soared 6% to $1,773.0 mln.

As it seems, the decline occurred from reduction of oil-gas products. So, the decline on oil-gas products made $1,247.8 mln, while total export decline stood at $1,140.8 mln.
Total worth of import of goods to Azerbaijan made $11.2 bln, up 9.4% from previous year. Consumption goods import amounted to $4,474.4 mln, which $1,380.6 mln of this fell to share of food products.
