78% of BSE turnover fall to share of repo operations

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-ECONOMICS. The total volume of transactions for the January of 2014 for all securities traded in Baku Stock Exchange was AZN 1.483 bln, up 10.1 times from 2013.

 

According to BSE, corporative securities market rose 17 times to AZN 303.2 mln. Corporate bonds primary market surged 2.7 times to AZN 22.5 mln, secondary market – 22.9 times to AZN 173.8 mln. The primary market of shares rose 71.1 times, secondary market slipped 11.1% during the reporting period.

 

Positive dynamic of BSE turnover was caused by government securities, as well as repo operations. So, repo operations made AZN 1.150 bln or 77.6% of total volume. Annual growth on repo operations was 23.6 times.
