Finance Ministry reveals Azerbaijan’s medium-term inflation forecast

Taking into account the inflation forecasts of international organizations for food and commodity prices, the stability of the manat exchange rate, the forecast that regulated prices will not be increased, and anti-inflation measures, the Ministry of Economy predicts that the average annual inflation rate, projected at 5.1% for the current year under the baseline scenario, will gradually decline to 3.8% by 2029, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Finance.

It was noted that the average annual inflation rate is forecasted to be 4.3% in 2026, 4% in 2027, and 3.9% in 2028.
