Azerbaijan and Italy deepen rural development cooperation

Italian deputy foreign minister, Italian co-chair of the meeting Famiano Crucianelli said that Azeri oil has been attractive up to now but Azeri gas will be more attractive now.
â€œThe next meeting will be held in Italy in some months and prospects of the cooperation will be discussed there. One of the prospective cooperation fields is rural development. We are keen on development of food production,â€? he said.
Azerbaijani co-chair and economic development minister Heydar Babayev touched upon Italyâ€™s portion in the trade turnover of Azerbaijan.
He said the main aim is to intensify exportation. The commission co-chairs signed an agreement on rural development.
Businessmen from the both countries are expected to meet today. /APA/
